My favorite projects are those that make a positive impact on the visual appeal of a space or a lasting improvement in usability. Simply put, I enjoy making things that are functional, strong and beautiful. I am willing to put in the effort to build quality into each job. The backs and bottoms of cabinets are rarely seen but I seal them because they will last that much longer.

I have had a newly laid solid teak floor covered in two inches of water from an interior leak. When the water was removed and the floor dried out, the floor suffered no damage.

Restoring a boat to its original condition can be challenging but if done right is immensely rewarding. Time and weather can be hard on anything but with determination and a solid plan their effects are solvable. When a leak appeared in a salon, I had the patience to remove an overhead that was glued up and never meant to be removed to locate the leak. And then I put the overhead back while making it removable for the next time.
